Hydroflux to Sponsor and Exhibit at the National Biosolids Conference

February 11, 2025

The 2025 National Biosolids Conference will be held in Hobart over two days during March 17 and 18. The conference will review and highlight key developments in the industry, focusing on the role of water industry and government regulators as champions for sustainable biosolids management and reuse opportunities. This year’s theme is Biosolids: Future Possibilities, the conference aims to empower participants to embrace the uncertainties ahead.

Hydroflux will be exhibiting and sponsoring the conference. We’ll also will be delivering two papers on our advanced biosolids processing technologies which includes thermal drying solutions from HUBER SE, and struvite removal from biosolids. Thermal drying is a critical part of an advanced biosolids process and our paper will discuss some interesting public private partnerships from Europe that has led to decarbonisation and long term benefits to both industrial and water utilities. The second paper will discuss the benefit of AirPrex® technology which provides controlled struvite removal that leads to enhance dewaterability of biosolids, reducing sludge transport costs with the option of beneficially reusing the struvite.
