Sludge Dewatering

Advanced Sludge Dewatering Solutions by Hydroflux: Efficiency and Sustainability in Waste Management

Hydroflux specialises in providing advanced sludge dewatering solutions designed to efficiently separate water from sludge. This process significantly reduces the volume and weight of the sludge, making it more manageable and cost-effective for handling, transportation, and disposal. Hydroflux employs a variety of technologies for this purpose, each selected based on the nature of the slurry to be dewatered and the required outcome.

Although screw presses are the most common in industrial applications due to their high efficiency and low cost of operation, Hydroflux also installs belt presses, centrifuges, and filter presses when appropriate. By providing the most suitable technology and optimising the sludge dewatering process, Hydroflux aims to achieve maximum reduction in sludge volume for disposal or further utilisation, such as sludge drying. This approach ensures environmental compliance and supports sustainable waste management practices. Additionally, Hydroflux can supply dewatering plants or conduct complete design and construction of dewatering and sludge drying projects.

Global Success: The Versatile HUBER Q-PRESS® RoS3Q Inclined Sludge Press

The HUBER Q-PRESS® RoS3Q Inclined Sludge Press is a unique sludge dewatering machine developed by HUBER over 20 years ago and now over 1200 machines have been installed globally in a wide variety of applications. Several HUBER Q-PRESS models are available with capacities ranging from 20 to 540Kg Dry Solids (DS) per hour to suit virtually all industrial applications for dewatering of primary or secondary sludge.

Efficient Dewatering with CakeMax™: Ideal for Non-Greasy Slurries

The Hydroflux Chamber CakeMax™ filter press is a batch dewatering system ideally suited for non greasy slurries. It can produce a very dry filter cake with up to 60% dry solids, has low operational requirements, and a low capital cost. Additionally, it requires minimal or no chemicals, features simple maintenance that can usually be performed by a non-specialized team, and has quick and simple start-up and shutdown processes.
